Guidelines For Reviewers

Expert feedback is essential in helping maintain the high standards of publication. Below are guidelines for reviewers.

A. Responsibilities

As a reviewer, responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining Confidentiality: Treat the manuscript as confidential and do not share it with anyone.
  2. Providing Timely Feedback: Submit review within the agreed-upon timeframe (usually 2 months).
  3. Evaluating the Manuscript: Assess manuscript quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  4. Providing Constructive Feedback: Offer specific, detailed, and respectful comments to help authors improve their work.

B. Evaluation Criteria

When evaluating the manuscript, consider the following criteria:

  1. Originality: Does the manuscript present new and original research?
  2. Significance: Is the research significant and relevant to the field?
  3. Technical Quality: Is the research well-designed, well-executed, and well-presented?
  4. Clarity and Concision: Is the writing clear, concise, and free of errors?
  5. Relevance: Is the research relevant to the journal’s scope and audience?

C. Review Process

  1. Receiving the Manuscript: An email with a link to the manuscript and review instructions will be sent.
  2. Reviewing the Manuscript: Evaluate the manuscript based on the criteria above.
  3. Submitting Review: Enter comments and recommendations in the review form.
  4. Receiving Feedback: Feedback from the associate editor or author may be received.

D. Confidentiality and Conflict of Interest

  1. Maintaining Confidentiality: Do not share the manuscript or review with anyone.
  2. Declaring Conflicts of Interest: Notify the associate editor immediately if conflicts of interest exist.

E. Review Form
