In cases where an author wishes to withdraw their manuscript from consideration, they must notify the editor-in-chief in writing. The editor-in-chief will consider the request and may ask the author to provide a reason for the withdrawal. If the manuscript has already been published, withdrawal is not possible. However, in cases where an article is found to contain errors or misconduct, the journal may retract the article or publish a correction.
